BSc (Hons) Diagnostic Radiography • Standard entry (for those under 25) • Five GCSE passes at grade C or above to include English, Mathematics and a Science subject or double co-ordinated science. • AND • Applicants should have a minimum of 260 tariff points from GCE/VCE Advanced level passes including one science subject. • or • BTEC National Diploma (Science based subject): 260 tariff points http://www.ucas.com/students/coursesearch/2012searcheu/

PGD/MSc Diagnostic Radiography (pre-reg) • Entry • Applicants normally should possess an upper second class (2:1) honours degree. • This previous degree should have some relevant Biomedical content to facilitate learning on the course. • This degree should have been awarded no more than three years ago. • Please note interviews will normally be held April-July for January entry • Suggested time for application is January-August 2013

Diagnostic Radiography – getting an interview • Show insight into the role of the radiographer and a commitment to the profession • Demonstrate taking responsibility i.e. job, care provider, school role (prefect), community activity, fundraising, etc. (EVIDENCE) • Team-working, i.e. organizing an event, some work activities, some sports activities (EVIDENCE) • Demonstrate personal initiative and determination to succeed e.g. extra courses, taking exams early, some individual attainment at a remarkable level (EVIDENCE, sport, hobbies, DoE). • Demonstrate a degree of self awareness i.e. describe the type of person they are
