  3. The childhood • Diana was born on 1 July 1961, in Sandringham, Norfolk. She was the fourth of five children.

  4. Education • In 1968, Diana was sent to Riddlesworth Hall, an all-girls boarding school. In 1977 Diana went to finishing school at the Institute in Rougemont, Switzerland. 

  5. The wedding • Twenty-year-old Diana became Princess of Wales when she married the Princeof Wales on 29 July 1981 at St. Paul's Cathedral. A“fairytalewedding” Diana & Charles

  7. The divorce • The divorce was finalised on 28 August 1996. • Diana received a lumpsum settlementof around£17 million.

  8. Dodi Al Fayed • In 1996 Diana met Dodi Al Fayed. After the divorce Diana started dating Dodi.

  10. Diana’s Death • On 31 August 1997 Diana died in a car crash in the Pont de l'Alma road tunnel in Paris.
