How will you loose Revenue ?... • Loss of generation due to WTG running at lower capacity than it is rated • Due to lack of spare, there is possibility of running WTG in lesser power than it is actually rated for. • This can not be easily identified without analytical & technical skills • For Ex: if WTG is running at 1000KW instead of 1500 KW then will loose 500 Units /Hr . • Loss of generation due to poor performance of WTG • Erratic Anemometer reading – Wrong Wind speed measurement • Erratic Wind Vane reading – Wrong Wind direction measurement • Problematic power curve – Actual Power curve is not inline with rated Power Curve Excellence Thorough Customer Satisfaction…

How will you loose Revenue ?... • Line loss between WTG to Billing EB Meter & Bulk Meter • This needs to be continuously monitored • Transmission Loss of 1% will tend to loose 1000 Units for every 1,00,000 Units of generation • Huge breakdown restoration time due to unskilled & insufficient manpower • WTGs running at lower capacity than rated will have huge mechanical stress which will reduce the lifetime of the WTG • Removal of components from WTG for restoration of other WTG due to lack of spare & pressure from other owners • Power Curve deviation – WTG will not produce required power at specific wind speed • Abnormal RKVAH (Reactive power) penalty Excellence Thorough Customer Satisfaction…
