  3. Al -Andalus society was made up of Muslims, Christians and Jews: *The Muslims were the rulers, and had most of the wealth. They also owned the best land. *The Christians were called Mozarbs. Some converted to Islam to enjoy the same rights as the Muslims. Converted Christians were called Muladies . *The Jews were a minority.They lived separately in the Jewish quarter of towns and cities.
