  2. Tennis • Tennis is a sport based on unpredictability. Unpredictability that influences the complex physiological aspects of tennis play. • Unpredictability of: • point length • shot selection • strategy • match duration • weather

  3. Fitness Program • Adding a few stretches will help improve your game.

  4. Rotating Wrist Stretch Place one arm straight out in front and parallel to the ground. Rotate your wrist down and outwards and then use your other hand to further rotate your hand upwards.

  5. Chest Stretch Stand upright with your back towards a table or bench and place your hands on the edge. Bend your arms and slowly lower your entire body.

  6. Achilles Stretch Kneel on one foot and place your body weight over your knee. Keep your heel on the ground and lean forward.

Fluids • Importance of Water During Exercise • Proper hydration is especially important during exercise. • Adequate fluid intake for athletes is essential to: • comfort • performance • safety. • The longer and more intensely you exercise, the more important it is to drink the right kind of fluids.
