Pinnochio • Culture of the story  • Pinocchio is a fictional character and the main protagonist of the children's novel The Adventures of Pinocchio (1883), by the ItalianwriterCarlo Collodi. • Carved by a woodcarver named Geppetto in a small Italian village, he was created as a wooden puppet, but dreamed of becoming a real boy. He has also been used as a character who is prone to telling lies and fabricating stories for various reasons.[2] The story has appeared in many adaptations in other mediums. Pinocchio has been called an icon of modern culture, and one of the most reimagined characters in the pantheon of children's literature.[3]

  20. Multicultural • a kind of mosaic or salad bowl of cultural aspects that appear as places in space; these rarely touch, intersect, or overlap. Korean, Italian, English

  21. Cross-cultural • initiates some movement between categories as they cross over, this way and that, to the "other side" or "side(s)"; • yet, crossing over does not imply that those elements mix in any way.

Intracultural • indicates those cultural elements that are shared between a people-for example, a marriage between two persons from the same cultural background or • traditional theater forms such as Japanese Kabuki or Indian BharataNatyam that reflect a particular group of people, their language, and customs.

Interculturalism • refers to support for cross-cultural dialogue and challenging self-segregation tendencies within cultures.[1] • Interculturalism involves moving beyond mere passive acceptance of a multicultural fact of multiple cultures effectively existing in a society and instead promotes dialogue and interaction between cultures.[2]

  25. Intercultural communication • is a form of communication that aims to share information across different cultures and social groups. It is used to describe the wide range of communication processes and problems that naturally appear within an organization made up of individuals from different religious, social, ethnic, and educational backgrounds
