Getting a Degree • If you plan on being a doctor when you grow up it takes 12 years to learn every thing. • You need to take science classes to give you a head start on becoming a doctor. • Here are some classes you need to take, organic chemistry , general chemistry, biology, and biochemistry. • To be a doctor you need a medical degree

  3. Salary • Doctors make $86.95 an hour they make $238,270 in 2-8 months time. • Some doctors have different salaries. Others like nurses that work certain days of the month get around as less as$1,000 or maybe more. • Doctors are very high paid workers they are very lucky.

  4. Subject • Being a doctor means you have to be a straight A student in science if not you might want to pick a different job. • There are many different kinds of doctors who study very hard to learn new things.

  5. Tools that doctors use Most doctors use a tool called a stethoscope to hear your heart. This is a tool called a otoscope this helps doctors see inside your ears. Another is a shot. This is not really a tool

  6. Medicine Doctors have to know how much medicine to give their patients so they don’t over dose them. Did you know most medicine is made from powder? Liquid medicine is made from a special thing called sorbitol.

  7. clothing Doctors wear clothing that keeps the germs of them Their clothing is made out of a special material. A doctor usually has a nurse come see what’s wrong with the patient before he/she comes in. A nurse is just a helper that tells the doctor what is wrong with the patient.

  8. A Doctors Duties • The duties of a doctor is to take care of his/her patient and to protect their patients care. • Other duties are to provide a good medical standard of practice and care and to work in partnership with other staff members and patients.

  9. Location There are many doctors offices around the world many children go to hospitals around the world you even go to the hospital when you get hurt . This is a picture of a doctors office located on a map. Many other doctors have other offices and different locations. You may go to a different doctors office than your friend but their all very similar.
