  4. Save the Condors • Sometimes it is possible to bring back a species that are almost extinct. The California Condor for example, had almost completely disappeared from the wild in the 1980s. • Today, their numbers are rising thanks to some very hard working people

  5. Fun facts • One of the largest flying birds on Earth is the California Condor. • Adult condors can have wingspands of 9 ft. and can weigh up to 25 pounds.
