  2. Introduction My family doesn’t know what country we came from, what language we spoke, etc. So what I did was I asked my Mom’s mom and my Dad’s Aunt (Not included) about their history. Read on and find out more.

  3. Mother’s Side:A Historian isthe Best of All!!!!! The other day, I was talking to my Mom’s mom… She said that the foods she ate were Southern foods such as Spaghetti, Porckchops, and Chicken. She grew up in Gary, Indiana and still livesthere. Grandma speaks English. She was born somewhere around 1940.

  4. Mother’s Side:Economics Rocks!!!! Grandmother had a job. She worked as a clerk in a steel mill where steel is made. That’s how she made a living. She was a regular kid just like me a while back.

  5. Mother’s Side:Go Ask the Geographer!!!! The place where my Grandmother grew up (Gary, Indiana) is kind of like Downtown Detroit. It has old buildings and houses. The climate and temperature aresimilar and they are exactly an hour behind us.

  6. Mother’s Side:Political Science is great too!!!!!!! When my Grandmother was born there was segregation. That’s when blacks and whites are separated in lots of different ways. Different drinking fountains, different bathrooms, and even different waiting rooms in train stations. It was one of the most horrible moments in American History. In Gary, Indiana, segregation involved black and whites living in separate parts of town.

  7. Mother’s Side:Political Science is great too!!!!!!!! Grandmother was part of American Culture starting when she was born. When she ate Southern foods, such as Spaghetti, Porckchops, and Chicken, that was part of American Culture.
