Health research priority areas • Primary health care, prevention and control, • Maternal health and child health • Non communicable diseases and geriatrics • Curative medicine including herbal medicine • Emerging diseases,vectors,surveillance and zoonotic • Emerging technologies ( nanotechnology) • Ethical issues in health

  6. Other areas • Energy, agriculture, social sciences, environment, information & communication, physical nod biological sciences, engineering technology

  7. Cross cutting issues • Policy making / analysis • IPR, innovation mgt • Indexing us knowledge mgt • Transformational Leadership • Gender issues • Education • Resource mgt and equity

  8. General outlook • Multidisciplinarity • Continuous monitoring of emerging issues and frontiers of knowledge • Collaboration
