Surface area is measured in square units such as square feet (ft2), square yards (yd2), square meters (m2), square kilometers (km2), etc. The volume of a three-dimensional object is the measure of the space enclosed by a object. Volume is the measured in cubic units such as cubic feet (ft3), cubic yards (yd3), cubic meters (m3), cubic kilometers (km3), etc.
