  3. MSJ 11102Communication Research Research is an objective, systematic, empirical and cumulative process by which we seek to solve theoretical and applied problems. (Rubin, Rubin, Haridakis and Piele, 2010, pp. 198)

  4. MSJ 11102Communication Research • Objectivity • The researcher have to be impartial when seeking the best solution to the research problem. The research process should not be influenced by personal feeling, interpretation or prejudices. • The researcher should have a clear goal and should know what he needs.

  5. MSJ 11102Communication Research • Systematic • It moves through a series of planned stages • Have a definite set of procedure or a plan • The researcher can describe his steps in his research report or paper to the public.
