Raghavendran Srinivasan Founder – Wime(World In My Eyes) Bangalore Contact: 7022667750 / wime.life@gmail.com • Profile in detail: • Tester turned self-taught Founder with avid interests in working with highly scalable mobile and web technologies to create products which drive disruptive innovation and direct impact on society. • Have an overall IT industry experience of 12 years which includes 7 years of customer-facing roles at Australia. • Have worked in Wipro for about 11 years in turn for multiple clients and then moved on to work with a product based firm, Fiserv. • Solid experience in driving product design, cloud engineering and quality assurance. Deep experience in leading and orchestrating QA activities across multiple domains such as Cloud computing and Product Engineering, Healthcare services, Banking-Mobile & Digital channels and Telecommunications. • Graduated B.E ECE from Anna University in the year 2007 and equipped with additional qualifications like Diploma in Software Engineering(DNIIT) and Certified Associate Project Manager from PMI.

Pain Points • Thousands of apps, news websites, print media & TV shows which hosts mainly celebrity news, sports news, made-up content(like TV serials) and fearmongering. • India having a population of about 1500 million, lion’s share of revenue-generating media content revolves around lesser than 1% of the total population and at most times is about a celebrity. • Currently, no popular platforms which curate stories about a common man’s journey, battles he has won silently, lives he has touched and the subtle reality of life. One’s journey, moments and experiences are undoubtedly as unique as a fingerprint and this area is untapped. • Most used social networking app like Facebook has its highest user base in India(241 million), yet (a)Market penetration is mostly people who have adapted to digital era (b) Their profile doesn’t reflect their everyday life (c) People share content which is either visually appealing /to grab sympathy (d) Spam/hatred content. • Over time, we seem to have developed a stereotype unintentionally where we give more importance to appearance and only if we feel, they look good in our eyes or if they only follow gestures that we like, we tend to listen to them. Value Proposition • Estimated 600 million internet users only in India, a platform created and envelopes real-life stories, emotions, moments combined with the power of technology can help create a unique brand. • Current print media to Digital media penetration is about 20-80 and having the platform extend to print media as well will help engage more users and monetize additional revenue. • One content, One platform but multiple distribution channels(App, Website, Newspaper, Magazine, FM, Podcasts) in multiple Indian languages with the potential to start a new Television channel, FM station for the brand in the future. Almost no cost to generate content as it is all generated by users and is unique. • Tailoring the brand and the platform to cater to all Indian languages, user anonymity will attract more native users as average engagement per person increases exponentially. • Television serials, shows, and films are good examples of how made-up content can be monetized. Real-life stories and moments create a more emotional connect with the brand, apart from monetization. • Ability to expand the brand globally as this idea is equally applicable to any country. • The brand built will intersect multiple high revenue categories – Digital News, Social media, Digital entertainment and these categories are forecasted to have double the current user base. E.g.: 167Million in Digital Entertainment is expected to grow by 396Million in 2021 Wime

Solution • As an MVP, a mobile app in both Android & iOS has been created with the following features: • Ability to record a user’s voice in the language of his/her choice and save them. • All posts made by users are anonymous and will be community moderated by our volunteers to identify spam/hatred/irrelevant posts before it is made available to the public. • In response to these posts, users would be writing a handwritten letter, takes a photo of it and uploads it against the post which is content moderated as well. • Ability to filter posts and letters by language and user. • Real-time notification for likes, uploads and user stats. • A highly scalable app built on top of latest technologies and infrastructure. Zero or a million users will not impact application performance. • Wime is designed to be anonymous by default(can be changed as part of settings) to attract more users and to break the ice when making new posts. • Android App link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=life.wime • As a part of Branding and expansion more focused efforts can be put into building features on top of this app after a formal feedback review and in the same process, the strategy can be aligned in accordance to growth and monetization plans. • Please note that this is only the first baby step in the journey and hence an MVP has been made to showcase the product idea.   5. Ability & commitment • I have taken a gap year from my profession to personally work on this project fulltime. Willing to extend on this as the need arises. • My 12 years of IT background with an eye for quality combined with an entrepreneurial mindset has helped me translate the idea into an MVP. I am confident that with funding and professional mentoring, I will be able to build a team and we will be able to work on this dream relentlessly. • Positive feedback from the IT community(Attaching a tweet from Google Group Product manager working on the core Flutter team as an example and few others), have given me immense confidence that we as a team will be able to create an impactful product which can be progressively monetized across various categories. I would like to take the immense experience that NSRCEL has built over years to help me achieve my entrepreneurial dream and continue to be a part of alumni to help upcoming entrepreneurs. • The rich set of eminent people from the ecosystem knows the ground facts and apart from funding - the social & networking opportunities, venturing and knowing and interacting with diverse people help channelize and fuel the entrepreneurial journey in the right path. • Apart from entrepreneurship I firmly believe that great ideas originate here and I look forward to take the learnings from others. Progress on the idea • As far as the idea is concerned am the single person working on this for the time being starting from designing, writing the code, creating short movies on the concept and infrastructure upkeep. We have quite a few volunteers who help in moderating the content across different languages. • The idea in terms of app installs have been few to be honest because of the fact that it has not been advertised extensively and currently there are only a few experiences that were made available in the app. • Building a team, a brand and breaking the hesitancy of users to post content is the first major step towards the goal. With the right team, awareness and funding this should be taken care of. • The value proposition mentioned in the third slide is honestly my dream as an entrepreneur and this app is just an MVP to kick start the journey.
