  2. Born on May 8, 1975 • Spanish Pop Music Singer • He started his music career on Mexican label Fonovisa. • This helped him turn into most popular artists in Latin America and in the Hispanic American market in the United State. And biggest seller of Spanish language albums of the 1990s.

Before the turn of millennium, he made a crossover into the mainstream English Language market, signing a unique multi-albums deal with Universal Music group for unprecedented US $ 48,000,000, with Universal Music Latino to release his Spanish Albums and Interscope to release English Albums. • He has had Five Billboard Hot 100 top five singles, including two #1s, and holds the record for producing 22 number 1 Spanish language singles on the Billboard’s Hot Latin Tracks.

With the November 1999 release of Enrique, his fourth album but first on Interscope Records, Enrique Iglesias became one of pop music's biggest stars. • The platinum-certified Enrique spun off his first two number-one pop smashes: Bailamos, which hit number one in late summer 1999, and "Be With You" (a.k.a. Sólo me importastú), which topped the pop chart in summer 2000 for three weeks and was also number one on Billboard's Dance Club chart.
