  3. Put your Congressperson’s name in this box. • Put their picture in the box to the right. (delete this) • Identify their district # here and 3 major cities or towns in their district. • List all of their committee and subcommittee assignments here.

  6. Committee Name Here and Hearings • Briefly explain what a committee hearing is here. • Find the record of an ‘archived hearing’ on their webpage and describe the topic of the hearing, • purpose? • also include the names of any prominent witnesses.

  7. Name of Chairman and his or her state/district # In one sentence describe what area of law this sub-committee presides over. List 5 short examples of policy this committee would cover. . . . . . Name of your congressperson and the subcomittee 1 that they sit on.

  9. Look over the list of all the House committees and choose one that you would like to be a member of. (it can’t be one that your congressperson is a member of) Put the name of the committee in this box. • What does the committee do? • Why do you want to be in it?

  10. Print • OK, you are going to print this as a HANDOUT – when you click print look for Settings and “full page slides” click on that. • You should put 6 slides on a page! • If you give me more than 2 printed pages I will be . • If you do not know how to do this, ask me or a trusted source.
