Explanation of Processes • Cup tips, ball falls onto track. • Continues falling onto 3 consecutive tracks. • Falls off of final track into cup which is balanced on a seesaw. • A wire is tripped by seesaw which initiates the other side of the device. • Marble drops off of ledge, then falls onto slanted track with dominoes. • The marble then knocks over a cascade of dominoes and proceeds to knock over our Big Kahuna domino. • The Big Kahuna domino then knocks over a cup spilling a marble into the counter-weight. • The Counter-weight drops and slams into a calculator simulating the human motion of slamming one’s fist into a calculator to turn it on.
