Blank Center for Entrepreneurship Mission Statement To be the leader in facilitating the growth of entrepreneurship education and practice worldwide through the creation and development of academic (teaching/curriculum), research, and outreach initiatives that encourage and support entrepreneurs and the spirit of entrepreneurship. Our goal is to remain the thought leaders in entrepreneurship education worldwide.

Program Audience: Student Community; Educators and Faculty; Business Community; Policy Makers Number of Faculty: 44 22 Adjunct Faculty 8 Shared Faculty 3 Visiting Scholars Number of Courses Offered: Entrepreneurship is integrated into the core curriculum at both the graduate and undergraduate levels. In addition, we have 17 distinct entrepreneurship electives for MBA students and 13 distinct elective for undergraduate students.

  4. What is your most exciting activity? Once a year on Founder’s Day, Babson brings entrepreneurship luminaries to campus to share their experiences, provide inspir-ation to the Babson community, and celebrate the significant accomplishments of entrepreneurship. As part of the celebration, the College inducts selected invitees into its Academy of Distinguished Entrepreneurs, the world’s first entrepreneurship hall of fame. The College also highlights the best of its entrepreneurial minds through its graduate and undergraduate business plan competitions and student business fair.

  5. What is the biggest challenge you face? • Designing / launching our Ph.D. in Entrepreneurship Program

What new initiatives are you planning? • M.S. in Management • (concentration in Technological Entrepreneurship) • Lemonade Stories (entrepreneurs and their mothers) • NSF-funded SEEE • Corporate Entrepreneurship Institute at Babson Executive Education • Entrepreneurship Career Affinity Group • New courses in entrepreneurship
