All current Assistant Principals have participated or will participate Curriculum focus for helping leaders improve skills: System for creative thinking and solution finding Focus on language that builds trust, confidence, and competence Effective communication, such as committed listening powerful paraphrasing, presuming positive intent, and reflective feedback Coaching for Results

  7. Interview Boot Camp • Offered in spring of 2012 for current Assistant Principals • Voluntary • Required preparation by participants • Components • Mock interview • 15-20 minute prepared presentation • Self analysis of interview (required to view video)

  8. New Administrator Boot Camp • Offered each summer • Training focus includes: • Quality Defined process • Role of administrators in campus PLCs • Administrator Discipline Guide • Principals toolkit • Staff Development and Curriculum Overview
