  1. A method of receiving Zero signal from Encoder Estun International sales Dept. 2011.07

  2. Rotary Encoder • A Rotary Encoder, is an electro-mechanical device that • converts the angular position or motion of a shaft or axle • to an analog or digital code. The output of incremental • encoders provides information about the motion of the • shaft which is typically further processed elsewhere into • information such as speed, distance, RPM and position.

  3. Output Signal • An incremental rotary encoder, also known as a square • ware encoder or a relative rotary encoder, has three • outputs called square ware outputs.

  4. Z Pulse of Encoder • Z pulse position indicates the mechanical zero point of encoder, one pulse could be generated by per revolution.

  5. Line Driver Output

  6. Feedback signals of 1CN EDC Series EDB Series Pronet Series

  7. PCO signal is output via the optocoupler devices, then, it could be received by most of the controllers. Open Collector Output

  8. PGCO signal output Typical connection: Notes: This output signal is not used with the factory settings. The output signal must be allocated.

  9. Allocating the signals(EDC) Notes: When set to the factory setting, the PGCO signal is invalid.

  10. Allocating the signals(EDB) Notes: When set to the factory setting, the PGCO signal is invalid.

  11. Allocating the signals(PRONET) Notes: When set to the factory setting, the PGCO signal is invalid.
