  4. The Beginning of LGU In two Congressional Acts (1862 & 1890), specific universities designated as land-grant universities. Mission: Teach agriculture and mechanic arts.

  5. The 4-H Seed: Teaching Children to Teach Adults 4-H evolved to address the needs of the changing environment
