  1. Should Cosmetic Be Tested On Animals? Food drive for animals

  2. Why I chose my topic. • I feel that animals should have a voice and deserve to have a life without having to go through tests that have no accurate outcome and are meaningless.

  3. Research I found • Companies - Avon and Mary Kay have stopped testing on animals. • Companies - greedy, less expensive way

  4. Research I found • Humans = different distribution of blood cells than animals. • Low toxicity + large amount = Lethal!

  5. Research I found • Alternatives = Technology – distinction of animal testing. More accurate. • Tests = meaningless and no outcome. • Unquestionable = not put into stores.

  6. Link between Research and Product • By doing research on animal testing it is also linked to animal abuse. By doing an animal food drive for my product, it helps animals get the necessities they need to survive and donating them to the SCPA of Wake County.

  7. My Product

  8. Obstacles I overcame • Overcoming the stress of feeling like I was being rushed in my paper because it was 2nd semester English was a tough time for me. But I held myself together and turned my in assignments on time and got through it.

  9. Successes I had • Able to get all information. • Understand what it took to pass.

  10. What I learned about myself • Being sheltered most of my childhood, I never really learned to communicate with people. By doing this as a project, I learned how to be myself when talking to people and learn interaction skills. To have a voice for myself rather than someone speaking for me.

  11. Thank you for your time! • Do you have any questions?
