  1. The New Way of Expressing Silence We as humans today are totally disconnected with our true selves. The best way to recover is to practice silence and silence retreat. Nowadays we are surrounded by noise everywhere. Be it while walking on the road or even when we just enter our homes. Everybody is either sitting in front of a television or there are some other means of noise such as Radio etc. while walking on the roads there is so much of traffic, so much of honking that we can’t even listen to our own voices sometimes. Even the means of transports like trains, airplanes, buses etc. are so full of noise that it becomes hard to find silence. While travelling people to ignore the urban noise wear headphones so as to avoid the noise but less they realize that they are listening to loud music which is also a form of noise. We don’t spend time with ourselves and hence don’t know the value of finding silence and silence retreat. Everybody, from small villages to towns to city to country to world every single place is full of noise. We only when we get tired we feel like running away and spend some of our time alone away from everybody where we can find ourselves and spend some time alone away from all the noise and people who create it. WHAT IS SILENCE? It is absence of any kind of sound or noise from the ambience we are present in or the sound has a very low intensity which does not create any such impact. The sound of nature i.e. the birds chirping, the waves trying to fight to reach to shore, the rain, the sound of the trees moving, the leaves falling on the ground, the wind flowing, this is all silence i.e. the sounds much needed in our lives. The biggest form of noise in our lives is technology i.e. television, radio, and the biggest one damaging our eyes brain and health is our mobile phones. It is advisable to use mobile phones only when in need and as less as possible.

  2. Silence is the utmost important thing for the wellbeing of our health i.e. mental, physical and emotional. It is also the key to successful relationships and stability. Staying silent doesn’t mean that you don’t have anything to say, it means you have a lot to say but you choose to stay silent and are not scared of losing the conversation but more scared of losing people who are valuable in your life. By practicing silence regularly you feel connected to your soul and you explore your true self completely which we as humans lack these days. WHAT IS SILENCE RETREAT? Eventually there will come a time when you need a break. Here silence retreat plays a major role. Silence retreat is a way when you completely cut off from the world, you don’t speak anything, not even eye contact is there. It is a plan many people offer and lengths from 3 days to 15 days or as per your wishes. There are a few things which you only can learn from silence retreat: - •It helps in increasing focus. •Clears your mind and hence helps in taking better decisions. •Helps in keeping perpectives So in the end it is correctly said forget the past, stop worrying about the future and live in the present and silence retreat helps in viewing life in a different light and gives us a better direction we all have always longed for.
