  1. Hardware-Software Integration Platform for a Wireless Sensor Network Test-bed, Based on the Cookies Application Profile G. Mujica The aim of this project is to create a completed integration platform to join the hardware features of the Cookie Nodes with the capabilities and reliability of an application profile. This profile is based on a broad set of software libraries and functionalities that allow the control of the main processing levels of a Wireless Sensor Network. It contains the management of the network layer and the Zigbee stack, all the peripherals included in the processing layer, and the correct acquisition of the sensors that are part of the available hardware. As a result of this integration, the application profile can be acceded through the CookieLab: a Wireless Sensor Network Testbed which has been created to obtain a rapid prototyping and developments of Zigbee Applications using all the features proposed by this Cookie Integration Platform. Monitoring Panel • NODE MANAGEMENT (HARDWARE CONTROL) • Remote reset of the nodes. • Remote Programming via Wireless Link. • Power Consumption Monitoring. • Low Power Consumption Mode Management. • NETWORK MANAGEMENT (APP CONTROL) • Node Identification (Application Level). • Node Descriptor & Type of Measurement Tables. • Physical Address & Index Tables. • Link Quality of the nodes. • Network Map & Data Routes. • Monitoring of the reconnections of the nodes. Experimental Results & Conclusions: Task Manager & Profile Interface Application Level Access: Management, control and configuration of the application profile features via commands and defined parameters. Test-Bed based on 6 Cookie Nodes Network Level Access: Management, control and configuration of the Zigbee Stack features via commands and defined parameters. Real Time Monitoring: Displaying the events and the behavior of the Cookie integration platform and the Zigbee network. Deployment of the CookieLab with the implemented profile in all the nodes. Testing all the functionalities involved in the application. A Completed integration platform has been created focused on the reliability, rapid prototyping and the adaptability of the Cookie Nodes to different applications. The main features that involve the deployment and the management of a Wireless Sensor Network are covered by this platform.
