Senior Design Transition from Sponsor Night to 1st Sponsor Meeting MEEG401 - Fall 2011 • Thursday, 9/1 PM • Team selects single point-of-contact individual (SPoC) • SPoC makes team UD-email distribution list (team DL) • Advisors send project alignments and sponsor contact information to MEEG401 class email list • Friday, 9/2 • SPoC send team DL to advisor, with contact phone number for SPoC • SPoC contacts sponsor to schedule initial interaction (for PM, 9/6) • Arrange for travel (transportation, directions, etc. - see web for info) • SPoC contacts advisor (advisor schedules) for introductory meeting prior to first meeting with sponsor • Develop agenda for first meeting • Research sponsor business and relevant technology - start background research and 'benchmarking'

  46. Engineering Student Shop 9thAnnual Open House Friday September 16th. 11:00am to 2:00pm 104 Spencer Lab All Engineering Faculty, Staff and Students are invited. Come have some lunch and learn about the Student Machine Shop. Food, fun, door prizes! Fine Print Please note that the terms “food”, “fun” and “door prizes” are all subjective terms. In this case, the term “food” is defined as hot dogs and fixins, baked beans, jalapeno cornbread, potato salad, cole slaw, chocolate chip cookies and cold beverages. “Fun” is a completely subjective term and is therefore left to your own definition. "Door Prizes” may consist of old wrenches or tools that have no practical use other than as a paperweight. The decision of the judges is final in all contests and games of chance. No purchase necessary. During the Open House, the shop rules concerning safety glasses and proper shop attire will be waived. Your mileage may vary.
