  3. What is Adderall? • Used to treat ADHD • Mechanism of action • -Blocks reuptake of norepinephrine (attention) and dopamine (pleasure/mood)

  4. Why is this considered a “study” drug? • Used in stressful times • Increases focus and concentration • -still retain information • Gives boosts of energy • Increase motivation • Increase euphoria

  5. Methods • Researchers at BYU • Searched for Adderall-related tweets on Twitter • -Side effects -When it is most popular -Combining with other substances

  6. Results • Distribution of Adderall-related tweets over 6 months
