  1. EBSCO TUTORIAL This presentation is to assist patrons of the Stillwater Public Library in accessing EBSCO Host. How to open EBSCO and links to further EBSCO training.

STILLWATER PUBLIC LIBRARY • EBSCO HOST is a powerful search tool available to any Stillwater Library card holder. • As you journey through this tutorial you will see your library card is very valuable. • Many of these articles you find searching through EBSCO would cost you a fortune but you get them at no cost through your library.

  3. Finding EBSCO Through Your Library

  4. When you position the curser over Reference Resources there will be a drop down as in the picture above. Position the curser over Online Databases and click on the mouse.

  5. EBSCO You will notice under the second brown bar titled General Research the words EbscoHost to the far right under the word Access you will see the choice In Library/Remote. If you are not in the library click on remote and follow the instructions on the next screen.

  6. LOG IN Enter your library card number in this box. Your library card number is found on the back of your card under the bar code. You must enter all fourteen digits. After you have entered your library card number move your curser to the dark blue box with the word Log in. Click on this and review the next screen that will come up.

  7. Click on EBSCOhost Web

  8. Clicking on continue will give you your search box where you can enter subject or title.
