Common Awards • University of Durham • Church of England and Methodist Church • Required for all training institutions for Anglican ordinands • Validation process 2013-2014 • Queen’s validation visit took place in November 2013 • All new undergraduate students at Queen’s will be registered with Durham from 2014 • 2 year full-time or 3 year-part time initial ministerial training will result in: • Diploma of Higher Education in Theology, Ministry and Mission • Students with APEL may gain: • BA (Hons) in Theology, Ministry and Mission • MA in Theology, Ministry and Mission

Full time pathway - suitability • Students entering at Level 4 • Students with APEL in theological studies (entering at Level 5 and exiting with a BA) • Students who are qualified to undertake MA studies or post-graduate research • Students who have significant learning support needs who would benefit from regular access to specialist learning support

  6. QCC Year 1 modules (University of Durham, 2014 entry)

  7. Part time pathway - suitability • Students entering at Level 4 • Students who can make 15 to 20 hours per week available for study and training
