  2. Negative tú commands • When we tell someone what NOT to do, we use a negative command. We have already discussed affirmative commands (camina, habla, ve, haz). The formation for NEGATIVE commands are different. • Take the “yo” form of a verb, drop the “o” and add “es” for “ar” verbs and “as” for “er” verbs. Hablar – hablo – habl - hables

  3. Negative tú commands-ejemplos caminar – camino – camin – camines no caminesaquí! usar – uso - us – uses no uses mi toalla! poner – pongo – pong – pongas no pongas la toallasucia en tucama!

  5. Negative tú commands – change the following sentences to negative tú commands • ir a la escuelatarde. • Usar mi secador de pelo. • Comer muchosducles. • Hablar en la clase. • Correr en la escuela.
