Además de reducir la complejidad al permitir que los usuarios vean los datos en la forma que desean verlos, las vistas tienen las siguientes ventajas. • Las vistas proporcionan un cierto nivel de seguridad • Las vistas proporcionan un mecanismo para personalizar la apariencia de la base de datos • Una vista puede presentar una imagen coherente y estática de la estructura de la base de datos.
