C O L O R. Hue. The name of a pure color is HUE. For example, blue, red, yellow, etc. Primary colors are : Red , Yellow , Blue . They are called primary because they cannot be made from any other colors. Secondary colors are: Orange , Green , Purple

  2. Hue • The name of a pure color is HUE. For example, blue, red, yellow, etc. • Primary colors are : Red, Yellow, Blue. They are called primary because they cannot be made from any other colors. • Secondary colors are: Orange, Green, Purple They are the result of mixing the Primary colors.

  6. COMPLEMENTARY COLORS • Complementary colors are ACROSS from one another on the color wheel. They can be mixed to darken either color, or in equal proportions, used to make neutrals: brown, black and gray. There are 3 sets of complements: • RED & GREEN • YELLOW & PURPLE • BLUE & ORANGE
