  5. Long Term Renovation Strategy • Requirement under the EED • Data, data, data • Marry the data to the opportunity in order to create the right framework (EEF, NESF, Supports, Better Energy) • Attract the finance (BEF, EEF) – more challenging than anticipated, but progress is being made.

  6. Affordable Energy Strategy • Existing strategy runs to end-2014 • Time for a reboot • Consultation starts on 4 November • What worked (and what didn’t)? • What new measures should we introduce? • New strategy in 2015

  7. Green Paper • Written consultation period ran from May 12 to 31 July 2014 • Over 1,500 submissions received • Priority 1 focuses on citizen engagement and the protection of vulnerable consumers • Huge response to Priority 1 questions
