Mission statement: • The mission of Hodges Bend Middle School, is to provide a collaborative team of students, faculty, staff, parents, and community, which will provide a safe and supportive learning environment that empowers all students to achieve their potential to be life-long learners in a global society.

  7. Facts on the School: • Hodges Bend Middle School is one of 74 campuses in Fort Bend Independent School District. Hodges Bend Middle School opened in 1987 and serves predominantly Hispanic, African-American, low income families. Hodges Bend Middle School serves 1187 students in grades sixth to eighth. • The student population is 33.9 percent African American, 5.0 percent Anglo, 12.2 percent Asian, and 46.7 percent Hispanic. The student body is 49 percent male and 51 percent female, with a low socio-economic status of 65 percent.

  8. Facts on Staff: • The teaching staff is 32.8 percent African American, 42.4 percent Anglo, 7.6 percent Asian, and 16 percent Hispanic. The teaching staff is 29.8 percent male and 70.2 percent female, with an average of 12.2 years of teaching experience, 100 percent of Highly Qualified teachers and 100 percent of Highly Qualified paraprofessionals.

Facts on our students: • Hodges Bend Middle Schools serves 151 English Language Learner students and 15 students in the Gifted and Talented program (40 percent males, 60 percent females, and 0 percent LEP), 28 students have been identified for 504 services, 1187 of RtI Tier I students,65 Tier II & III students, 104 students served through special education services (8.0 percent) and 2 students tested, but not qualified for special education services.

  11. Family Access • Fort Bend ISD's Family Access is now open (24 hours a day and 7 days a week). Family Access allows parents to see information regarding their child's academic progress, any disciplines received, and attendance.To sign up for Family Access, parents must go to the FBISD home page and click on Family Access, fill out the form on line, print it and then bring the form back up to the school in person along with a Government issued ID in order to finish the sign up process.The website is:http://www.fortbendisd.com/familyaccess/
