Paul’s Options, 2 Co.5:8 • Alive at Lord’s return; to receive glorified body (1 Co.15:51-52) • Die, leave body, be with Lord in unclad soul, awaiting resurrection • Remain in body, work for souls – Prefers first or second – Chooses third, Ph.1:24-26 Paul’s primary concern:the ultimate state of the dead

  4. 2 Co.5:10 • For we must[Divine subpoena; Ac.17:31] • all [Ac.17:30] • appear[V.11] • before the judgment seat[Mt.27:19; Ac.18] • of Christ,[Ac.10:42; Ro.2:16] • that[Ro.2:6] • each one[Individuals; Mt.25:19-30] • may receive the things done in the body • according to what he has done[1 Co.6] • whether good or bad[Ga.6:7-8]
