  4. #3 • Reduce sedentary activities and engage in a regular exercise routine.

  5. #4 • Consume the recommended amount of fruits and vegetables. 5 a day!

  6. #5 • Make sure you get a VARIETY of fruits and vegetables. Think about the colors of the rainbow.

  7. #6 • Consume 3 servings of whole grains every day.

  8. #7 • Consume 3 servings of milk or dairy every day.

  9. #8 • Keep total fat intake between 20 – 35 % of total calories.

  10. #9 • Choose high fiber, low-sugar carbohydrates and brush teeth often.

  11. #10 • Consume less than 2,300 mg of sodium per day (1 tsp.)
