  2. Dechreuais yn UCMC ar ddydd Llun 6ed Medi 2010 Mae’n seiliedig ar drafodaethau rhwng UCMC, Llywodraeth y Cynulliad, ColegauCymru, myfyrwyr AB a darparwyr hyfforddiant preifat. Darparu cefnogaeth ar gyfer Strategaeth Llywodraeth y Cynulliad ar gyfer Cyfranogiad Dysgwyr mewn addysg ôl-16 Adlewyrchu llais dysgwyr o fewn i Fframwaith Arolygiad Cyffredin newydd Estyn Mae UCMC mewn sefyllfa unigryw i redeg y prosiect hwn I began at NUS Wales on Monday September 6th 2010 Based on discussions between NUS Wales, WAG, ColegauCymru, FE students and private training providers. Support the WAG’s Learner Involvement Strategy for post 16 learning Reflect the learner voice in the new Estyn Common Inspection Framework NUS Wales uniquely placed to deliver this project Prosiect Cynrychiolaeth Myfyrwyr ABFE Student Representation Project

Datblygu/cefnogi strwythurau cynrychiolaeth myfyrwyr a chyfranogiad dysgwyr mewn colegau AB ledled Cymru Mynd i’r afael â’r her o fod yn gynrychiolydd myfyrwyr AB drwy weithio ar lefel leol gyda grwp o golegau i’w gytuno Creu newid mewn diwylliant ymhlith myfyrwyr, staff colegau a threfniannau i sicrhau fod Cymru yn cynnal ei statws fel gwlad sy’n buddsoddi mewn llais dysgwyr ac yn ymgysylltu â myfyrwyr AB ar lefel leol a chenedlaethol Develop/support student representation structures and learner involvement in FE colleges throughout Wales Tackle the challenges of FE student representation by working on a local level with a group of colleges to be agreed upon Create a step change in the culture amongst students, college staff and procedures to ensure Wales maintains its stance as a nation investing in the learner voice and engaging with FE students at a local and national level Nodau ac AmcanionProject Aims y Prosiectand Objectives

  4. 1) Darparu hyfforddiant ar gyfer Myfyrwyr Lywodraethwyr (mewn cydweithrediad â ColegauCymru) i golegau yng Nghymru 2) Darparu hyfforddiant (mewn cydweithrediad â ColegauCymru) i Swyddogion Cydlynu Staff Myfyrwyr (SCSM) a staff atodol perthnasol eraill yng Nghymru 3) Darparu hyfforddiant a chyngor wedi ei deilwra i gynorthwyo 6/7 choleg y flwyddyn, a fydd yn rhoddi grym i’r sefydliadau hyn i gefnogi a datblygu strwythurau ymgysylltiad myfyrwyr yn annibynnol 4) Cofnodi arferion da ledled colegau AB yng Nghymru, argymell atebion ar gyfer strwythurau cynrychiolaeth AB a chyfeirio pobl at ddefnyddiau sy’n bodioli eisoes 1)Provide student governor training (in conjunction with ColegauCymru) to colleges in Wales 2) Provide training (in conjunction with ColegauCymru) to Staff Student Liaison Officers (SSLOs) and other relevant support staff in colleges in Wales 3) Provide tailored training, advice and support to 6/7 colleges per year that will empower these institutions to independently support and develop student engagement structures 4) Map good practise of student engagement across FE Colleges in Wales, producing recommended solutions for FE representation structures and signposting to materials already available CanlyniadauOutputs

  5. 5) Datblygu a thyfu rhwydwaith ar gyfer SCSM yng Nghymru i rannu arferion da mewn cefnogi ymgysylltiad myfyrwyr a gweithredu’r Canllawiau ar Lais Dysgwyr 6) Cynghori, datblygu a chefngoi strwythurau cynrychiolwyr dosbarthiadau yng ngholegau AB Cymru 7) Creu dull cynaliadwy o gymorth parhaus ar gyfer cynrychiolaeth myfyrwyr tu hwnt i gyfnod y prosiect hwn 5) Develop and grow a network for SSLO’s in Wales to share good practise in supporting student engagement and implementation of the Learner Voice Guidance 6) Advise, develop and support class representative structures in Welsh FE Colleges 7) Create a sustainable method of continued FE student representation support beyond the terms of this project CanlyniadauOutputs

Am y tro cyntaf erioed, llwyddodd UCMC i ddod â Myfyrwyr Lywodraehwyr o bob rhan o Gymru at ei gilydd Aeth y Myfyrwyr Lywodraethwyr oddi yno gyda grym, hyder ac yn teimlo’n gyffrous ynglyn â’u cyfarfod cyntaf o Fwrdd Llywodraethu eu coleg ‘Roedd y digwyddiad yn gyfle i Fyfyrwyr Lywodraethwyr i rwydweithio, ac aethant ati i gyfnewid cyfeiriadau e-bost er mwyn cadw mewn cysylltiad gydol y flwyddyn For the first time ever, NUS Wales brought Student Governors together from all over Wales The Student Governors left feeling empowered, confident and excited for their first meeting of the Governing Board within their college The event allowed the Student Governors to network and they exchanged emails to keep in touch and support one another throughout the year DarpariaethDelivery of o Hyfforddiant Training

Nododd y Myfyrwyr Lywodraethwyr a’r staff fod yr hyfforddiant wedi bod yn rhagorol a’u bod wedi ei fwynhau ‘Roeddynt i gyd wedi mwynhau rhwydweithio gyda’u cyfoedion Rhoddwyd sgôr o 4.92/6 ar gyfer y digwyddiad yn y De a 4.73/6 ar gyfer y digwyddiad yn y Gogledd Sgôr wych ar gyfer blwyddyn gyntaf y digwyddiadau hyfforddiant hyn Gofynnwyd iddynt i awgrymu sut y gallem wella’r digwyddiadau, rhywbeth y byddwn yn ei adeiladu i mewn i hyfforddiant y flwyddyn nesaf Both the Student Governors and staff commented that the training had been absolutely fantastic and that they had thoroughly enjoyed it They all enjoyed networking with their peers They gave the South event a rating of 4.92/6 and the North 4.73/6 Excellent scores for the first year of these training events We asked them to suggest how we could improve the events, something we we will build into next year’s training GwerthusoEvaluation of AdborthFeedback

Gweithio mewn partneriaeth â Colegau Cymru, Llywodraeth Cymru a phartneriaid eraill i sicrhau ein bod ni’n sefydlu strwythur gefnogaeth effeithiol ar gyfer cynrychiolwyr dysgwyr o fewn i’r system newydd arfaethedig o lywodraethu. Cydlynu â rhwydwaith Clerciaid Colegau Cymru a staff cyfranogiad myfyrwyr o fewn i golegau gydol y flwyddyn fel y gallwn weithio gyda’n gilydd i hyfforddi a chefnogi cynrychiolwyr dysgwyr o fewn i’r system newydd arfaethedig Work in partnership with Colegau Cymru, the Welsh Government and other partners to ensure we set up an efficient support structure for learner representatives within the proposed new system of governance Liaise with the Colegau Cymru Clerks’ network and learner involvement staff within colleges throughout the year so we can work together to train and support learner representatives within the proposed new system of governance Hyfforddiant ar gyfer Myfyrwyr Lywodraethwyr Future Training/Support for Student Governors
