SGC Breakfast Briefing with Mr Patrick Dahm Partner in Rodyk & Davidson LLP’s Litigation & Arbitration Practice Group The Singapore Government’s Enhanced Merger & Acquisition Scheme 2012 The Singapore Government’s Merger & Acquisition Scheme was introduced in 2010 in order to encourage companies in Singapore to grow their businesses through mergers and acquisitions. The scheme provides persuasive allowances and stamp duty reliefs for qualifying M & As. This briefing will recall the M & A Scheme and introduce the new qualifiers that make the scheme more suitable for subsidiaries of German or European parent companies in Singapore.
