NASA Shared Services Center • The NSSC is a partnership among NASA, Computer Sciences Corporation and the states of Louisiana and Mississippi • Performs a variety of transactional and administrative activities in four lines of business that support all ten NASA Centers: • Procurement • Grants, SBIR and STTR Contracts, Agency-wide Contracts • Financial Management • Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, Financial Reporting • Human Resources • Benefits, Personnel Action Processing, SES Case Documentation • Information Technology • Enterprise License Management, Tier 1 Help Desk

NSSC Small Business Opportunities • NASA’s Small Business Innovation Research and Small Business Technology Transfer (SBIR/STTR) Programs • Provide an opportunity for small, high technology companies and research institutions to participate in Federal Government sponsored research and development efforts in key technology areas. • Phase I – 494 and Phase II - 215 awards made in FY11 • Subscribe to the NASA SBIR/STTR quarterly newsletter, “The Concept” at subscribe@sbirnews.com • Internal Training Purchases • Training courses conducted on-site at a NASA installation • 799 awards totaling over $10.5 Million made in FY10 • 53% of the awards went to small business
