    1. WebSphere Process Server v6.0 WebSphere Integration Developer v6.0 Service Component Architecture Overview This presentation will focus on providing an Overview for the Service Component Architecture (SCA). We heard in this mornings Technical Overview presentation how the entire philosophy of the WPS (or SOA) programming model is based around the premise of application composition. In order to achieve application composition we need a way of encapsulating discrete chunks of business functionality and making them available for consumption. In WPS this requirement is satisfied by SCA. As such SCA is a fundamental technology within WPS - and the purpose of this presentation is to drill down a little and explain how SCA delivers this critical capability. This presentation will focus on providing an Overview for the Service Component Architecture (SCA).
