  2. UEFA Introduction UEFA is the governing body of European football. Established in 1954, UEFA is based in Nyon, Switzerland, and comprises 53 member football associations. In addition to protecting and promoting the game across Europe, UEFA is responsible for organising major football tournaments and competitions such as the UEFA European Football Championship for national teams, and the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League for clubs.

What are the objectives of the HB Talent Programme? • To select, recruit and train 190 locally based students across the 8 host cities in Poland and Ukraine for remunerated assistant level positions at the UEFA EURO 2012™ Final Tournament. • To link talented students of each university with the UEFA EURO 2012™ Final Tournament in order to leave a knowledge and experience legacy for each student and enabling them to be involved in this historic event for their country. • Create a programme that enables the students to feel part of the UEFA football family and ensure they are highly motivated and dedicated to their position in the success of the UEFA EURO 2012™ Final Tournament.

Available Positions & Numbers • Logistics Assistants x 2 • Logistics Drivers x 10 • Commentary Supports x 9 • Broadcast Liaison Officers x 2 • 5 of the above positions will act as a Reserve Pool for covering absences during the tournament. • Information sheets on each of the positions are provided for you to read and decide on which position best suits your skills, experiences and motivation.

General Eligibility Requirements • 21 years old as of 31st December 2011 • No criminal convictions – (police screening for accreditation) • Signed upto agreed faculty within the university • High command of English • Full Clean Driving License required - only for Logistics Driver & Logistics Assistant positions

How to apply • Select one position you wish to apply for • Send your CV (In English, no longer than 2 pages including personal email address) and motivation letter to (demy@ukma.kiev.ua) • Interviews to be held by: • University Selection Comittee: representatives ofNaUKMA International Office, Kyiv-Moyla School of Journalism, and NaUKMA Dean of Students Office • HB Talent University Contact – Larysa Chovnyuk (larch@ukma.kiev.ua) or Ruslan Deynychenko (deynychenko@ukma.kiev.ua) • Final selection sent to UEFA end of June, 2nd stage interviews to be held in Sept/Oct 2011
