KIDNEY DAMAGE IN NEPHRITIS
Kidneys are the organs that play a major role in the functioning of different organs of the human body. They are involved in the removal of waste matters from our body and also involved in the purification of blood. Healthy kidneys keep protein in the blood, which in turn helps our bodies soak up water from the tissue inside. Damaged kidneys, on the other hand, can leak protein into the urine, which affects the ability of the body to absorb water from our tissues. This causes the tissues to swell. Nephritis is a serious inflammation (reaction to injury or infection), which affects either one or both of your kidneys. This condition is also known as kidney nephritis, tubo-interstitial nephritis or interstitial nephritis. There are different types of nephritis that have been known to affect humans. But the most common types include acute nephritis and chronic nephritis. Nephritis is the 9th highest cause of death in humans, across the world. This problem could be the result of an infection, such as a bacterial infection. It can also occur because of excess exposure to toxins. However, one of the most common factors that lead to this disease is the presence of an autoimmune disease, which affects the major organs in the body.
