  4. NASA Senior Review 2016 Draft Call for Proposals received 20th August Comments sent by Sept 11th deadline Final Call for Proposals received 25th Sept Deadline: 22 Jan 2016 Review at OCC, 22-24th Mar 2016 Changes: Proposal requested as a “Delta” on SR2014 20 page limit (down from 30) Review 1 day shorter Proposal preparation will be similar to past cycles CUC 29 Sept 2015 Director’s Report

  5. Large, Joint-time Proposals • Joint time program solved multiple-jeopardy for small programs only (< 400 ks or equivalent) • Time-domain campaigns are ~impossible, as discussed at a workshop on time-domain science: Lorentz Center, July 2015 (usually try for DDT time) • Options to facilitate time-critical programs: • “Hold” a large joint program until required joint time has been approved, discard if it is not • Large, multi-mission joint CfP (discussed with XMM, Integral, Spitzer so far). If all relevant missions are interested, this would likely take a few years to work out. CUC 29 Sept 2015 Director’s Report
