  4. 2011 July 19th Antiope occultation path across ne CA & nw NV Hwy 139 Hwy 299  Canby  Surprise Valley Rd Gerlach Empire Hwy 89 Old Station  Hwy 44 Hwy 447 Hwy 99 Hwy 99 Sierra College IOTA meeting site Observing sites can be near Hwy 99 from Sacramento to Red Bluff, & n. and s. of those cities. Very rarely, fog from S.F. Bay reaches Sac’to; if so, use sites near US 395, Reno to Susanville, & Hwy 44 & 89 to n. of Burney.

  6. Sierra College, Rocklin, CA  Building located at 38 deg 47.44 N, 121 deg 12.83 W The black arrow marks the building where we met in July 2003. The Antiope occultation will occur almost exactly 8 years after our highly successful observations of the occultation of another 6th-mag.star by (1263) Varsavia on 2003 July 18 in California before the 2003 meeting.
