Anomalías: Varones XX Mujeres XY Incidencia: 20 mil nacimientos. El Gen SRY ( Región determinante del sexo en el cromosoma Y ) El SRY implica en la determinación sexual de los varones. SRY ,Es el gen TDF del cromosoma Y.

  4. Deleciones intersticiales en Yq se asocian con el 10 % de Azoospermia no obstructiva y oligospermia. Genes AZF ( factores de azoospermia) 3 regiones en Yq: (AZFa, AZFb, AZFc) Gen DAZ ( Delecionados en la azoospermia) Codifican proteínas de enlace ARN, sólo se expresa en células germinales premeióticas del testículo. El Gen USP9Y: -Su función no se sabe. - Es necesario para la espermatogénesis normal.
