Best Practices Awards The NPMA Best Practices Awards recognize team efforts in asset management at corporations, federal, state and local government agencies, as well as universities and institutions of higher learning. Members send petitions to the National Director of Awards via fjohnson@npma.org by February 28, 2012. Outstanding Member The Outstanding Member Award is given for exceptional service at the chapter level, and is based on the level of commitment and dedication to the profession and NPMA. Chapter presidents send nominations to National Office (fjohnson@npma.org) by March 30, 2012. Chapter of the Year NPMA honors three chapters that are most prominent in advancing the association’s objectives and goals. Awards are presented to the Small, Medium, and Large Chapters of the Year. Chapter presidents send chapter petitions to the Region Director of Awards by March 1, 2012 Jack E. Griffiths Property Person of the Year This award is given to an active NPMA member who has contributed time and support in an outstanding manner and who has made significant contributions to the profession.  Chapter presidents send nominations to Region Vice President by March 5, 2012. Lifetime Achievement Award This award is given to NPMA members who have contributed to the profession and NPMA over a long period of time (20+ years of experience + 15 years of NPMA membership). Any member can nominate an individual for this award. Send nomination letter to the National Director of Awards (via fjohnson@npma.org) by March 1, 2012. Federal Property Person of the Year This award recognizes a federal government employee who exhibits outstanding leadership and accomplishments in the property management profession. Send nomination form to Lynn Brown at lbrown2580@gmail.com by March 15, 2012. NPMA 2012 Award Submissions
