RFH General information • ► RFH was founded by the Russian Government, September8,1994. • ► RFHreviewers:ap. 1 500recognized Russian scientists employed by 390 research institutions and representing over 50 regions of the Russian Federation. • ► RFHconductsannual competitionsfor supportof research projects, including: • general call for proposals, • regionalcalls – with participation of 50regions of the Russian Federation, • internationalcalls -with partners from 14 countries, • targeted calls. • ► Within the time span of 17 years the Foundation has received and • reviewed more than 110 000projects and funded more than 35 000. • Funding has contributed to - work of more than 20 000 research teams; • -publication of more than 4 500thousand scientific books;- publication of more than 100 000 scientific articles;- organization of more than 2 000 scientific conferences;- creation of about 1 000 information resources including on-line. • ► RFH has provided support for a total of more 250 000 Russian scientists, including over 80 000 young scientists.
