  2. Bauer research Bauer is Europe’s largest privately owned publishing Group. Which provides the world with consistent magazines. It owns and publishes over 230 magazines across 15 countries. Bauer is a business that is built on media brands that holds lots of personal relationships with engaged readers and listeners. The Bauer media production owns many magazine but owns three mainstream magazines (‘kerrang!’… ‘mojo’…’Q’) The music magazines that Bauer own are very different types of magazines the q magazine is aimed at a wider audience as it consists of most genres(e.g. rock, country, pop). The magazine kerrang aims at a specific genre of music which is heavy metal bands this includes bands like slipknot. They own different magazine types because this makes sure that every audience has a magazine to read.

  3. Mojo magazine The mojo magazine is a mass circulation magazine that is aimed at a mainstream audience. This is because the magazine consists of I wide range of music genres. The music magazine focuses on the genres from classic and modern rock, folk, soul, country to reggae, electronic and experimental. The music magazine The music magazine focuses on a lot of music genres, they do this because it then attracts consumers who like different genres of music.

ABC the ABC is an industry body for media measurement.it is an industry that bring lots of company's together.They represent the differing interests of the media industry and meet regularly to agree new standards for industry and to agree the strategy for ABC as an organisation. the ABC offer independent audit and compliance services, delivering certification which verifies that data and processes meet industry Reporting Standards.

  5. Conglomerate publishers A conglomerate is a combination of two or more corporations engaged in entirely different businesses that fall under one group. Often, a conglomerate is a multi-industry company.Conglomerates are often large and multinational.an example of conglomerate publisher is the Walt Disney company. they do this as it allows them to use other smaller industry's films and make some profit off them.

  6. IPC Media Time Inc. UK is a subsidiary of Time Inc, it is one of the world's leading media companies reaching more than 130 million consumers each month across multiple platforms. Its influential brands include People, Sports Illustrated, InStyle, Time, Real Simple, Southern Living, Entertainment Weekly, Travel + Leisure, Food & Wine and Fortune, as well as more than 50 diverse titles at Time Inc. UK such as Decanter and Horse & Hound. The media company also publishes music magazines like NME. This is the only music magazine than they publish. The NME music magazine is a quite Niche Circulation: 23,924.this shows that the company IPC media is a niche industry.

  7. NME The NME magazine is niche music magazine this is because the magazine has a niche circulation, meaning there are not as much people buy the magazine. This is probably because it is largely associated with rock, alternative and indie music. They focus on bands like the Artic monkeys and kiss. As they use bands like artic monkeys who are looked up to to be cool, this means they use subcultural capital to engage the readers.

Future Publishing Future plc is an international media group that is listed on the London Stock Exchange (FUTR).it was founded in 1985 with one magazine, today they have operations in the UK, US and Australia creating over 200 specialist publications, apps, websites and events for people who are passionate about their interests. They publish lots of different music magazine from the genres of country to rock. They publish magazines such as country, NUmetaland beats and bass. Future publishing publish a wide range of music as it covers everyone's interests.
