  11. Wages • According to indeed, the average wages for I.T. jobs is $59,000. • According to eHow, who got their source from the BLS, the average wage for a “computer support specialist was $43,000” as of May, 2008. • eHow also said that the average annual wage for the nation was $27,000-$71,000.

Other Information • I.T. started out representing those who worked in banks, hospitals, etc. for information storing purposes. • Someone who works in Information Technology can fix a variety of computer issues. • Specialist may work forty hours in one week in offices, labs, etc. • Employees can work with people face-to-face or via technology. • According to eHow, sometimes education on computer science, information systems, or computer engineering is required
