  2. Artyom Genrikhovich Borovik (13 September 1960 – 9 March 2000) was a prominent Russian journalist and media magnate. He was the son of a Soviet journalist, Genrikh Borovik, who worked for many years as a foreign correspondent in the U.S.

  3. Some facts from the biography:- within five years, Artyom Borovik is a correspondent in the "hot spots“;- was in Chernobyl after the explosion;- on the instructions of the journal several trips to Afghanistan  - in 1988, a few months military service in the U.S. Army as part of the experiment. About his army experience Artem wrote the book "How I was a soldier in the U.S. Army." ;  - author of several books about Afghanistan, the book "Meet me at the three cranes", "Hidden War". For his work in Afghanistan he was awarded the medal "For Military Merit."

  4. In 1988 - 1990 years. Artyom Borovik was a correspondent and one of the leading TV show " Look" of the USSR Central Television . In 1989 he began working at the newspaper "Top Secret" and after a while became the first deputy chief editor Julian Semyonov .In 1991 he became the chief editor of "Top Secret" and in the same year created the eponymous television show on the TV channel " Russia ", and later - the program " Double Portrait ". From 1992 to 2000 Artyom Borovik Chairman of the Board of Directors information and publishing group "Top Secret" , and later - the president of media holding "Top Secret" .From 1993 to 2000, general director of "Top Secret - Telecom" . From 1996 to 2000 the chief editor of "Faces" . In 1997, the deputy mayor of Moscow, Yuri Luzhkov on the organization of the anniversary celebrations in honor of the 850th anniversary of Moscow .Artyom Borovik was co-chair of the Board of Trustees Executive Club "Moscow" , since 1996 member of the editorial boards of the journals "Power ", "Moscow faces ." Since 1998, the chief editor of "Version" . Since June 1999 is part of the Board of Directors of TV " TV-Center ".

  5. During a recent interview in his life , which gave Artem on NTV on the night of 6 to 7 March 2000 , from one of the viewers came the question: " If you are so honest , why is still alive ? .. "Borovik died in an aircraft crash at Sheremetyevo International Airport on 9 March 2000.
