  3. New assets can be entered quickly by entering a suitable mnemonic label at each level Assets can given unique identifiers meeting local standards, or an automatically assigned ID. After the asset hierarchy has been drafted, each asset level can be documented using the appropriate form. At the lowest level, each asset can have fine details registered at any time.

  4. Capital Works – used to register assets planned and / under construction. Disposals – used to register assets that have been disposed or obsolete but whose data need to be retained. For example, information about buried assets left in situ may need to be retained for future reference.

  5. Click to run the System form. Click to run the SubSystem form. Click to run the Facility Details form. Click to run the Asset Details form. Click to snapshot this form. Click to toggle Edit mode. Click to run the TAMSMap GIS

  6. This is very useful for modules where there are many Sys level assets, such as Roads. Quick Find allows for “type ahead” to jump to the first instance of a name – in this case names starting with “M”. Click this to run the Lookup Sys Name form, to navigate to an asset by its name.

  7. Click this to run the Asset Selector form, to navigate to an asset by its identification numbers.

  8. Click this to run the Related Documents browser. Related Documents can be identified for any level of asset, and various other objects such as projects.
