  2. The eagle and the dog By Ethan O’Brien, Dante Gambatese, Timmy Zimmer

  3. There was an eagle and a dog. They lived in Hollywood. They were best friends. They met an ostrich, but the eagle and the dog were both showing off. Normally the dog is lazy and takes his time with things. But now, he was rushing, acting crazy and running around to impress the ostrich. Normally the eagle minds his own business and flies around but to show off for the ostrich, he was bragging and circling around him. They raced to see if the ostrich likes the eagle or the dog more. They raced, but the eagle won. But because they were showing off, the ostrich didn’t like either of them. The dog and the eagle were both lonely. They became friends again. The End!

  5. The Lamb and the Grasshopper By: Alicia Ralston and Mia Murphy

  6. One day on a farm, a grasshopper was sadly hopping along when he meets a lamb. The lamb said ,” why are you so sad ?” he said ,”I am sad because I can’t get food for my family because it is almost winter .” “I should have got it earlier ‘ sadly said the grasshopper.” suggested the lamb . The next day the lamb went to help him , but the grasshopper gave up because he thought it was too hard ,he didn’t want to help ! So the lamb got food for the grasshopper ‘s family without help from him. Then the grasshopper came along to start to help the lamb gather food . The grasshopper was so thankful to have food for his family. Then winter came along , and he was so happy !

  7. The moral of the story is …. When you have a problem don’t give up even when it may be too hard!

  9. One day under the sea in the school gym , there was a tough Lobster and a small weak Crab . The Lobster went up to the Crab and said, “I challenge you to a basketball game ,” The Crab said ,” I will take you down ,” The lobster said ,” good luck , you’ll need it ,” The Crab knew he didn’t stand a chance against the Lobster . So he went up to the gym teacher and asked him can you help me practice my basketball ? He said ,” yes. They practiced dribbling , shooting, defense . The teacher said ,” your ready ,” So everyone met up in the gym after school . Everyone was exited except for one fish….The Crab . He was so nerves he was shaking like a monkey . Finally the game began . Of cores the lobster got the ball first . The Lobster said he did not have to try . So the first and second and third shot he missed . He said ,” I’m just getting started.,” The lobster shot the ball and made it . The Crab shot a three pointer . The crowd goes , TTTTHHHHRRRREEEEE ! The lobster said ,”big deal ,” The Lobster tied the game up . There were three seconds on the clock . The Crab got the ball again and since there was only three seconds on the clock he had to hurry . The crowd yelled ,” TREE , TWO ,ONE ,” The crab shot from half court . AND HE MADE IT ! THE CROWD GOES WILD ! The Crab wins the game! THE END

  11. The Owl and the Lion By: Jason and Frank

  12. One day at a special craft store, there was a $1 model with sticks, glue, and paint. The owl and the lion were interested with that activity. The employee said, “This is a winning Build-A-Craft competition.” Then, the owl and the lion ran to the table, sat in a chair, and got the supplies. “$1 please.” said the employee. The lion paid $2 and owl was playing on his phone. The lion grabbed it and threw it into the trash. Then, they started building. Owl and lion were building the model competing against each other. Owl doesn’t follow directions and lion follows directions. In 20 minutes, they finished the model spaceship and owl’s spaceship was messed up, so, lion wins the building competition. The End

  15. The Butterfly and The Wolf One day there was a lonely wolf named Alex. She was looking for something to eat. Then a selfish butterfly flew along in front of Alex. She bragged, “HA! HA! You have to walk to the meadow and I can fly my lovely wings.” Alex said happily, “ I don’t mind ,I’ll get my exercise. I’m just getting my lunch.” “I don’t work for anything. My daddy can get it for me. I am not poor like you. Any way my name is Brittney.” When Brittney was flying away, Alex screamed, “ You don’t have to be so mean!” The next day Brittney’s dad couldn’t come home to give her dinner. Alex saw Brittney all sad and hungry. So Alex invited her to dinner at her house. Alex said, “ What would you like for dinner?” “I like flowers,” said Brittney. “ Oh yeah. I just went to the meadow to get some. I love the smell of them.” Alex offered her one, but Brittney took all of them then Brittney left to her mansion apple tree . The next day her daddy couldn’t come again so she decided to wander outside of Alex’s house. Alex didn’t want to invite her in, because of what happened yesterday with her flowers. Brittney was dying of starvation. Alex felt so bad for her then she finally invited her in. “ I learned my lesson!” said Brittney. Then they became best friends forever! THEEND

  16. The Moral The moral of this story is, Don’t be greedy or you won’t get anything!

  18. One day a beetle was walking in the woods when a bully goat came by and started calling the beetle names like stupid head and smelly boy. Then someone came by and pushed the goat! The goat got stuck in some mud and said “oh beetle, oh beetle, can you please help me out of this mud? I am sorry for calling you names.” The beetle was scared to go over there then said, “every one calls me smelly! I am sick of it!,” “ I am sorry,” said the goat. Then the beetle helped him out. When the beetle was leaving an ant said, “hey , hey beetle wash up your to smelly.” “don’t call him smelly, If you do your calling me smelly.” said the goat. Then no one called the beetle stinky any more!

There once was a rabbit who enjoyed making fun of a chicken “No wonder they call you chicken , you are so scared!”said the rabbit. “what kind of contest?” said the rabbit. .”You think you are so tough ? well I challenge you to a contest . ” said the chicken. ” what kind of contest?”said the rabbit. “A basketball contest. ” said the chicken.” Easy!” yelled the rabbit. As the two animals got ready for the game , the fans were even more eager to see the winner of the game. As the games began , the rabbit was held to five points and so was the chicken. In the beginning of the second quarter, the chicken hit a 3 pointer to go up by 3 . The rabbit responded with a 3.”Bet you can`t make another bucket” yelled the rabbit. They exchanged buckets all thru the 2 half. All through the second half. As the score became 48-51 ten seconds left , the rabbit was losing by 3. He had the ball, he put up a three and made it! As the chicken came down the court, he drove it to the basket and made the layup as time expired! ”who is better at basket ball “said the chicken? “You`re better” said the rabbit.

  23. The Crocodile and The Donkey By Justin Schroeck and Ben Kloppman

  24. One day in a swamp there lived crocodile. He invited his friend the donkey to the hippo’s birthday party. But the hippo never invited either of them to his party, And at the party the crocodile didn’t tell the donkey what they were going to do. When they got there the crocodile told the donkey that they were going to shoot the hippos with paintball guns for fun. But the donkey didn’t want to shoot the hippo kids with paintball guns. But the donkey also didn’t want to hurt the crocodile’s feelings. So he said “yes”, and they shot the hippos with paintballs. When they ran away they got stuck in a tree! Then the kids ran to them and beat the fwooy out of them! -get him!! -GET HIM KIDS!!!! AHH- -OH NO!!!

  25. The moral of the story: if somebody invites you to do something bad you can say “NO” -hahaha BONK!!! -OW! That hurts!! -take that crocodile!

  26. THE FROG AND THE RAT BY ISAAC HATTEN AND PAUL BROWER

  27. It is November 1962 on a Fall afternoon. The frog and the rat are planning a contest of drawing. So the rat bragged of how good a drawer he is and he said “I’m going to win this contest. “3,2,1, go says the announcer”. The rat started scribbling away while the frog was drawing very very slowly . “Done screamed the rat “. In three minutes. 5 minutes later “done” yelled the frog. They announced the winner of the contest. “The frog wins” and the rat yelled “no I won because I finished first. But yours was sloppy and the frogs was neat. ………

  29. The Horse And The Kangaroo By: Carolina Stefanski and Madeline Daher

  30. On one warm fall day , there lived a kangaroo named , Larrytate . Larrytate thought he was the best , because he could eat seventy five pies in two minutes. So he met the other best pie eater named Harrytate. Harrytate could eat one hundred eighty pies in seven minutes . So they decided that they should have a pie eating contest on West 21 Street . When the day came of the contest , all the guests were very excited to watch . Larrytate bragged , acted selfish , and was being mean !! They had to eat seven hundred fifty pies in ten minutes. Then Larrytate stopped at his tenth pie, because he thought he would win. Then all of a sudden Harrytate took the lead by ten pies. Then Larrytate started to eat the pies once again. But by the time he started to eat the pies again, Harrytate has already won the contest. Larrytate was so mad to lose to his own pie eating contest. So Larrytate walked away and was crying! Now, Larrytate has finally learned his lesson!! He won’t do this again!!

  31. Moral : The moral of this story, The Horse and The Kangaroo is: Think Before You Act!!!!!

  33. Once there was a pig who didn’t pick up his trash. It was always in his pen. But he had a mouse next door who was a neat freak, never littered or was messy. The pig didn’t listen. The pig littered so much that it covered all the mud he liked to roll in. Soon the pig didn’t have the his mud, so he asked the mouse to help him clean it up. But the mouse said only if he promised to never litter again. The pig said yes and they cleaned up all the litter in the pigs pen and the pig never littered again.

  35. The Turtle andthe elephant By Caitlyn & Madeline K

  36. One spring day in Ms. koala’s class at Mulberry school, the fourth graders had a big test coming up. It was for their final grade. “I’m going to get an A+, I’m going to get an A+” yelled the elephant. “ I’m probably going to get a good grade too” said the turtle. “No you won’t, said the elephant. “That’s enough class, just make sure you study hard” said Ms. Koala . When the turtle got home he studied for ten minutes like usual. He’s been doing it for two weeks now. The elephant wasn’t as lucky, He hasn't studied at all yet. He thought his idea was so good on staying up all night and studying, and drinking a lot of soda. So when the test came, the turtle had no problem doing it . But unfortunately, the elephant fell asleep during the test, and when he woke up he only had five minutes left. So he rushed and filled in any random circle for the multiple choice. After a day passed, Ms. koala said to the class, “Ok students you are going to get your test back. First one is turtle. Turtle opened it, “oh yah, oh yah I got an A+” yelled the turtle. Elephant opened his. It was an F. “ oh no oh no, maybe I was wrong, I’m sorry turtle.” said the elephant. The End
